Orchid Magnets
You can easily turn orchid flowers into magnets with a few simple steps.
First, follow the steps in the pattern instructions to create orchid flowers (Steps 1 - 5.)
When you color your orchid flowers you can mimic colors found in nature or you can let your imagination run wild and make bright hyperrealistic flowers.
Next, use hot glue to attach a magnet to the back of a flower. For this project, we suggest using 12mm round ceramic magnets.
Allow time for the glue to cool.
Enjoy your orchid magnets!
Plumeria Magnets
Start with the pattern instructions for making plumeria flowers (Steps 1 - 7.)
After you have made your plumeria flowers, use hot glue to attach a magnet to the back.
Allow time for the glue to cool.
Hang your plumeria magnets up and enjoy the compliments that come your way.
Air Plant Magnet
To make an Air Forever-Plant, follow the pattern instructions (Steps 1 - 7.)
To turn your Air Forever-Plant into a magnet, simply glue a 12mm round ceramic magnet to the back. Easy peasy.
Mini Friendship Forever-Plant Magnets
To make this project, begin by creating a mini Friendship Forever-Plant following the pattern instructions (Steps 1 - 7.)
Next, take a wine cork and cut it in half (this actually makes two planters, so you might as well make a friendship plant to give to a friend.)
Hollow out the top of the cork and glue the wire plant stems in place. You can glue some gravel pieces to the top of the planter or glue some small pieces of cork back in place.
Use hot glue to attach a 12mm round ceramic magnet to the back of the cork planter. Hang up your magnet and don't forget to gift one to a friend!
